Oxford University's Saïd Business School sent 6 MBAs to African Business Institute (ABI) in Uganda in 2017. Watch the video to learn more about the incredible two weeks of Project ENSIGO, and support our efforts to make this happen again this year ... this time, in Malawi!

ABI's business and academic network is truly global, and our students have the great benefit of being coached by instructors from some of the leading universities in the world. Past lecturers have come from the University of Cambridge, Emory University, Vanderbilt University, and many more.

ABI is an official partner with Oxford University's Saïd Business School for Project ENSIGO, which brought Oxford's MBAs to ABI to help ABI students refine their business plans, as well as provide Oxford's MBAs with a first-hand experience of Africa's business sector, including its so-called "barefoot entrepreneurs".

Project ENSIGO is sponsored by Saïd Business School, and is designed to allow Oxford's MBAs to mentor ABI student teams during the latter half of ABI's business program and get them pitch ready for investors.

The boot-camp is an intense 9-day program where the entrepreneurs and MBAs come together to refine business plans, develop primary market research strategies, and plan marketing and funding campaigns for the start-ups. The boot-camp culminates in a pitch competition, kindly sponsored by the Oxford Saïd Career Development Centre, that awards a cash prize to the winning ABI student team.
