Ugandan

ABI Postgraduate Class of 2017

"ABI has grounded and changed my perspective about doing business from a Christian perspective. Students are being molded into Christian business leaders who place service above self. The excellent range of teaching styles, ranging from conventional classroom lectures and discussions to practical outdoor internship experiences, have given students an opportunity to operate like companies even before they graduate. My internship experience particularly has been eye opening and invaluable to me, allowing me practical application of the three pillars of business - strategy, marketing and operations - to create a marketing strategy for an actual Ugandan company."

"I have been to various business and entrepreneurship trainings, but ABI's training is very different. The training is very practical, simulated into real life business scenarios. The most unique thing about ABI is its flat culture that treats us each, not as students, but as businessmen, businesswomen, and business teams. And, for me, one of the most treasured gems about ABI is the close involvement of its faculty. Students get to build a relationship with their professors as lecturers inside the classrooms, and as peers outside of it. After having put much on hold to come to ABI, I feel that it was worth it.

Malawian

ABI Postgraduate Class of 2017

"Coming to ABI, I never expected that I would be going out so frequently to practice what we learn in class. ABI sets platforms for students to immediately exercise what they learn. The outstanding thing for me was the IDEATION program, where students visit real Christian business people to see how business looks like outside of theory and classroom walls. Another great thing that has inspired me at ABI is the humility and servant leadership that is demonstrated by both the ABI leadership and its professors. At ABI, students have the privilege of building personal relationships with both, which helps greatly when seeking advice. Their example has been a great learning experience for us as we prepare to go out and lead others."

Chris Mendin

Liberian

ABI Postgraduate Class of 2017

"Before coming to ABI, I thought of business simply as the maximizing of profits. ABI has changed my perspective completely by teaching me how to do business from a Christian perspective. Most importantly, ABI has greatly taught me much about importance of my internal customers. I have learned how to be a servant leader, leading by example, coordinating and managing people from different backgrounds. As the leader of my internship team, l was made to quickly grow from being a manager to being a leader. If you are looking for a place to acquire godly leadership skills, ABI is the right place for you."

ABI Postgraduate Class of 2017

“ABI is a mentoring ground that provides spiritual as well as practical nurturing of future business leaders who live by the words of Jesus Christ that ‘it is more blessed to give than to receive’. This has been evident from not only the example of the directors of ABI but also the visiting professors who are investing time, business skills and knowledge to each student. Each learning day has been an inspiration of going out to launch ethical businesses that transform lives; businesses that are a light and salt to the world."
